Donovan Everitt

Event Director

Donovan has held a position of Event Director across multiple Large Scale Mass Participation Events, including Cape Town Cycle Tour, Cape Town Street Parade, Cape Town Rugby Tens, Art of the Brick Exhibition, Titanic Exhibition and a host of other sporting, music and brand related activations across South Africa and abroad.

Initially specialising in High Level Event Production, Donovan’s skillset crossed into the Business sector of the “Commercialisation of Major Events “, Sponsorship Delivery and Brand Integration Conceptualisation and Delivery.

Managing the deliverable aspect of major events within the parameters of sponsor commercial return on investment, has allowed him to gain tremendous insight as to the required systems and structures in order to create a compliant and safe environment for participants and protect associated brand integrity simultaneously-.

Within the founding of WellnesSafe we have brought together, and created an environment of experts, to advise commercial and Event Business on best practice solutions and protocols in line with the South African Government Business Protocols as well as ISO Standards.

Due to the challenges we are facing globally, it’s very much “Business As Unusual”.

We are in a time of crisis management which is not dissimilar from activating and implementing a major event, as pre-designed risk protocols have to be compliant across a number of departments-simultaneously, in order to successfully execute.

Together with commercial industry experts, we have built a complaint ecosystem that will allow your business to function against given Government Protocol and pre-empt any shortfalls before you get there.
